![]() SANFRANCISCO #612 served at the entrance to the port of San Francisco at the Golden Gate. She was 128'LOA powered by a single diesel engine. With an all steel, welded hull and deckhouse she was built at the Coats Guard shipyard at Curtis Bay, Maryland in 1950. She also served at Blunts Reef, California; Portland, Maine and Nantucket Shoals, Massachusetts. Number 612 was the last U.S. Lightship in commission while serving at Nantucket. |
